Oh, and thanks *heaps* for the App Store review!

Thanks for the feedback Weeble! I aim to support both left and right landscape orientations in either the next release or the one after that. Regarding the graphics, I can't make any promises about if or when they will be improved, as there is a series of conflicting priorities involved. However every bit of feedback helps me make a better, more player-oriented decision regarding those priorities, so it is well noted and definitely appreciated. Thanks.

                  Hi Adam,

Some bad news - the 2-fingered-swiping code contained a nasty bug which ultimately I couldn't track down in time for release of our next update, so I've had to postpone this feature until the following update. I will re-enable it as soon as development starts on the next release so that I have plenty of time to try to figure the bug out. Hopefully with the greatly improved movement controls in this coming update you won't miss it too much.

I also wanted to mention that I would like to include you in the game's credits for your great feedback on the two items you have mentioned on this site. It really is much appreciated.

                  Cheers,

                  Pete.

                  Hi Adam,

For the next release I am working on better controls for movement, as I have had plenty of feedback suggesting that the movement controls are pretty awkward as they are. The most popular request has been for dual-sticks style control, where you control the left and right tracks individually as you would in a real tank.

That said, I don't see the harm in adding an extra method of setting off forwards or backwards such as swiping. It's worth noting though that in the next release we are also going to allow players to swipe up and down to look up and down instead of tilting. So swipe-to-move will probably be a two-finger swipe. I hope that will be OK?

                  Thanks again,

                  Pete.

I took your idea on board and had a bit of a brainstorm. So in addition to swipe and tilt there could be:
                    - D-Pad (floating?). Can control horiz and vert rotation, or just horiz if tilt is enabled
                    - touching left vs right side of screen rotates the view left or right. Possibly the distance from the center dictates the speed? Probably requires tilt mode for vertical movement.
                    - tapping on the screen to send the view straight to that position. Holding finger down will cause the view to continue seeking in that direction at a speed relative to the distance from the center of the screen.

Does any of that sound anything like what you had in mind?

                      Hi Francesco,

As you've no doubt seen I've added a button which toggles instantly between radar view and normal view. I was initially only going to have this visible when tilt mode is disabled because it's especially difficult to get to the radar screen and back by just swiping. But I'm wondering if it might also be a workable solution to the problem you mention of slowing the game down even when using tilt mode?

The next step would possibly be to turn the static radar button image into a small realtime view of the radar. It might be too small to be interactive, so you would still have to tap on it to get to the full radar screen in order to select targets from it.

Would love to know your thoughts on all this. Cheers!

                      Hi Francesco,

Thanks for the feedback. Quick clarification: by "always on" are you referring to the fact that the radar currently sweeps around, pinging enemies as it goes, and that you would rather just have all of the enemies being tracked constantly, all at once?

Or are you referring to the fact that you have to "look down" to see the radar view?

                      Cheers.
